This year was the magic year for VBS love in our family. My kids L-O-V-E-D every single minute of VBS this year. They loved it so much that Micah asks at least 5 times per week if we can go to VBS. I walk into his room to get him when he wakes and the first thing out of his mouth is "We got BBS today?" It really was one of the best weeks of his life.
The celebration on Friday night is always one of my least favorite things because we are so tired by then. I always dread going back there after being home a couple of hours to rest. But, once we get there, it is always fun.
Micah and Miller climbed up in Donna's lap to watch the songs. Their eyes were fixed on the stage. They were quite happy.
After Jonah got done singing, he came to sit with us. His brother nestled in right beside him and I was able to capture this sweet moment.
Then Micah left and Miller joined Jonah.
At our church, different people wear shirt colors according to the area they work. Church staff wore red this year. I had the most coveted shirt of the year...TYE-DYE! There were only two like mine and everyone wanted them.
Micah walked to the celebration with Donna. He was in deep conversation with her.
The kids got to "dunk the pastor" if they raised enough money for the mission project. They exceeded their goal so they were thrilled to take turns dunking Danno.
And, I couldn't end this post without a picture of sweet Colton. He had a LARGE time at the celebration. This little fella is such a sweet boy!
