Little Monkey Eli's 1st Birthday

We were thrilled to help celebrate Eli Robinson's first birthday.  His daddy is our new Student Pastor at Stetson.  They have been at our church since June and we L.O.V.E. them!  They have done such an incredible job with our students and have been such good friends to us.  We are seriously blessed to have them here.  So, we were super excited to celebrate with them.  Eli and Micah are exactly 53 weeks apart.

You might remember Dorothy, the fish we got for Micah's birthday party.  You know, Elmo's friend?  Well, Dorothy recently moved in with the Gmitro family.  Micah and Jonah were happy to see Dorothy swimming around in her new habitat with her new friend, Rocky.

Micah had not had a nap because we had been at another party.  He was SO VERY TIRED.  He kept coming to me saying "Up, mommy, up, please!"

Donna tried to help occupy him as much as possible but that dude was T.I.R.E.D.  I think he even gave her a run for her money and she has the patience of Job where this kid is concerned!

Look at this sweet boy's throngs of supporters.  He is certainly a loved little boy.

Micah didn't quite understand that all of those gifts were for Eli and not him.  Just a week ago we encouraged him to open gifts then on this day we told him to stop.  HA! It must be so confusing being a little boy.

Somehow that little booger confiscated two of Eli's gifts and brought them outside.  Maybe it is time to start talking to him about stealing.

We took a staff picture much like this at Micah's party.  I'm just reminded of how blessed we are to serve together.  Love, love these people and their gifts and their contributions to God's kingdom.

Happy Birthday to you, little Eli!  We are excited to watch you grow and develop into the little boy God wants you to be.  We think you are pretty special!
