Pancakes with new friends!

We had a wonderful breakfast on the Wednesday of vacation. Reggie and Kim May introduced us to the The Old Spanish Sugar Mill. It is a cool little joint in one of the state parks near DeLand. Each table has a built in griddle and you make your own pancakes at your table. This thrilled Jonah's soul!

Reggie was the master pancake maker and actually made most of ours for us. He helped Jonah put blueberries and bananas on his. The place brings out two kinds of batter. Bleached white batter and whole grain. Kim was the only one brave enough to have the grainy kind. I tasted hers. They reminded me of chewing gravel! I stuck with the unhealthy bleached stuff!

As you can see, Jonah thoroughly enjoyed his blueberries. He ate more outside of the pancakes than he did in them. We had a fabulous time with Reggie and Kim and really look forward to serving with them over the years to come. (Reggie has been the Worship leader/Minister of Music at Stetson Baptist Church for over 12 years.)
