One of the great blessings of our lives these days is our church staff and their families. It's such a gift to work with this group of people and their families. We try to get together and spend time together as much as we can. Our schedules are all crazy but those who can come, come and those who can't just catch the next thing we do.
On this particular day (the first Saturday in October) we all met at a pumpkin patch that was about an hour from us. We got there about 30 minutes before everyone else so my kids got to explore while we waited. Once the rest of the crew arrived, they all joined in on the fun.
Want to talk about some SEC loyalty? It wasn't planned (because, seriously, what men plan to coordinate their clothing with other men??) but it was kind of funny. We had Florida, Mississippi State and Georgia represented!
Nice closed eyes, Jonah!
As you can see, Micah was a real fan of the "itchy and scratchy" hayride.
Here's Dan being Micah. Micah didn't find that humorous at all!
Here we all are...minus Patricia and Hannah.
In case you are wondering, we found corn in our car, the bathtub, the washing machine, their pockets...it was everywhere!
It was a fun day with our friends. The kids had a blast. The adults had fun. But, I think we've all decided to go later in the year next year to avoid the crazy heat!!!
