Honesty

Jonah has a book report due tomorrow.  There were 5 components to this project.  One required him to write a letter to a character in the book to introduce himself.  As part of Jonah's letter, he said "I have a little brother named Micah.  He is 3 years old.  When he gets older, I will be sure he reads your book!"

Now he is concerned that it might be a lie because he doesn't know for sure if he can remember to be sure that Micah reads the book when he was older.  Mark my words, he will tell his teacher tomorrow that he might have told a lie.  The kid is honest to a fault!

Football and the roof

One of Jonah's favorite Christmas gifts was a football.  He asked several times for a football and was thrilled when he opened it a few days after Christmas.  We all went outside that afternoon to play for a while.  It wasn't really cold enough for a jacket but Micah opened this new Spiderman jacket when Jonah opened his football.  So, he had to wear it.

Micah spent some time on his bike while we played football.  But, it didn't take long for him to join in on the football fun!

Earlier in the week, Dan noticed our solar panel o the back of the roof had a leak.  So, he got on the roof to fix it.  The boys were quite intrigued to see him up there.  You can barely see him in the first picture but I zoomed in for the next ones.
