I always get texts from our local Chickfila restaurant telling me about their latest specials or theme nights. We have never gone. I try to avoid all things that scream "LOTS OF PEOPLE WILL BE HERE" because crowds are not fun to me. Especially with a BUSY toddler. But, back in June, we were at Silver Springs for the day when we were chased away by rain. As we were driving home, Dan remembered the text about Superhero night. We decided that if were there right when it started at 5:00 p.m., we could maybe avoid the crowd. So, we rushed home and changed the boys into their Superhero attire. Jonah wore his Spiderman costume and Micah wore one of Jonah's old Spiderman shirts.
We got to Chickfila right when the event started so it wasn't at all crowded. Jonah loved all of the super hero stuff. There were all sorts of activities but he only wanted to play in the playground. There was another kid there dressed as batman. They totally referred to each other the entire time as Batman and Spiderman.
Micah was a tad bit traumatized by the cow. Every time he caught a glance of the cow, he would cry.
Thor even made an appearance. And, Micah wasn't at all scared of him. All in all, it was a fun night. But, I'm not super stoked about attending another "event" there. It gets super crowded and C-R-A-Z-Y with a capital C! I think I'd just rather pay for Jonah's kids meal rather than fight the madness for a free one!
