Friday morning

We started our day at Chikfila for breakfast. Jonah had a large time playing in the play area. Their play area is really geared for kids under the age of 3 so it is perfect for him.

We ran a few more errands then headed to Target. Dan always plays with Jonah in the toy section while I get my shopping done. Jonah loves this idea...except when it is time to leave. Notice the golf club in his hand? Dan got Jonah a real Nike putter. This is supposed to be one of his birthday gifts but I have a feeling he will get it a little early!
He played with his elephant spinning toy for most of the car time today. He was quite thrilled with his new toy.

Chuck E. Cheese

We spent a couple of hours in the afternoon at Chuck E. Cheese. I take back all the mean things I have ever said about the place. It was GREAT! Granted, we were 3 of only about 50 people in the whole place so that made a world of difference. I have never been there where there were not what seemed like 5000 people crammed into a place made for 50!!! Jonah had his fair share of time on every ride and game. He had a blast!!!

He was driving along in the bus then glanced over his shoulder and was so surprised to the mouse riding with him. He just giggled and then decided to talk to him. When that ride ended, he kissed the mouse goodbye!

He was riding along in this car when he decided to move over to Chuck's lap. I guess he figured being next to him was not close enough!

He was so happy to collect his tickets after every game. He had no idea what the tickets were for but he grabbed each one of them and held on to them the whole time we were there. At the end, we put them in the ticket eater to see what kind of prize he could get.

When all was said and done, he had 252 tickets. We looked at the different prizes but nothing really jumped out at us. There was a little girl there with her mom who was short 200 tickets from getting a Hannah Montana doll. So, we gave her our tickets. It was so cool to see the excitement on her face...and her mom's!
