Caroline's birthday party

Today was Caroline's birthday party. She turns 1 on Tuesday. I was at the hospital last year when she was born. We have had lots of fun together over this last year so I was excited to celebrate with her today.

I'm not sure what Aunt Debra was looking at, but she seems very happy, huh? Maybe she is eyeing my balloon and wishing it was hers! Hmmm...I'll have to watch her a little more closely in the future!!!
You can barely see her, but Sarah Grace is hiding under all of those balloons. She was not happy camper because Aunt Tammy was holding me too! She wants her all to herself!!!
Joanie and Taylor look very happy to be holding me, don't they? Actually, they were laughing at my mommy because she was being so silly trying to get me to smile. It didn't work for me but it worked great for them!!!

Is it just me or does it look like my daddy is about to drop me? Look at his face!!!! I know I am getting heavier by the day but I didn't know I was so heavy that he couldn't hold on to me!!
Here is Caroline with her mom and dad. She had cake all over her face. I think she liked it!

I went inside to help Caroline open some more presents and to help her play with them. I am beginning to like these birthday parties!!

Well, that's all for now! I have had a very busy week and should probably get some sleep. Have a happy Sunday!

Can we come outside?

My daddy and Mr. Pratt dug holes for a new fence today. Max & I wanted to go outside with them SO bad but they made us stay inside. SO...we just stood at the window and made them feel bad for keeping us locked in the house.

Daddy says his hands are hurting from using the post hole digger. Maybe if he would have let me help, he wouldn't be hurting so bad. Between me and Max, we could have gotten some dirt out of those holes. Mommy was inside with us but I don't think she was too sad that she wasn't out there with them.

Yeah, right!!!

I sure hope my parents didn't pay too much for their childproof locks!

Because, I am smart enough to get them off. They think they can keep me out of the cabinets? Yeah, right!!!!!

My afternoon outside!

The Hibbs came over to play with me this afternoon. It was perfect weather outside so we got my wagon and my Tot Rod out. He pushed me for a while but I was so concerned with the stick that they finally took it off so I would concentrate on driving.

Max thought since we were outside that someone should play Frisbee with him. Mom threw it to him and Mr. Hibbs was very impressed that he could catch in the air.

Max could not enjoy the wagon because he was too concerned that I had his Frisbee. He tried everything he could to get it out of my hands. But, I'm a little stronger than him, so I won out! HA!

Trunk or Treat

After getting dressed up in this garb, I'm thinking Max should be glad he got left out of this adventure. What I would have given to spend the evening in a crate rather than a heat suit with a head even larger than mine!!!

No, it really was fun. There were lots of people there and very fun costumes and decorated trunks. My church has done this the last four years. This year we had about 1500 people come. That is a lot of people and a lot of candy!!! Here I am with Manna. If you can't tell, she was a bee!!!

The sun was really bright out there at first and I was burning up. My mom let me sit in the car with the air conditioner on so I could cool off.

Caroline came over and sat with me for a little while. It is about to be her birthday. She is going to be one next Tuesday.
I went around to see some of the other cars. There were lots of really cool cars. I even got to see The Wizard of Oz.

The Freeman family had live chickens there. I've never touched a live chicken before. From what I have been told, I should be very glad I didn't get pecked!!!!
Kathryn Strong as Hannah Montana. She came over to tell me how cute I was. (Notice Sue-Sue holding me? She was a flower!)

My car had The Cat in the Hat showing on TV. I was quite intrigued by it. I watched it any chance I could get. I couldn't believe that the guy on TV looked just like me!!
I have to say, my second Trunk or Treat was a huge success. I had so much fun. I know I went last year, but I don't remember it. You can look back at last year to see how much I have grown. You can also tell that mommy planned their costumes a little better this year. She ran out of time last year and didn't do so well. But, here we are a year later and had a blast!!!!

The Cat In The Hat & The Dog in The Hat

Since Max is officially still part of our family, I thought you might like to see a few pictures of him from today. From what I understand, before I came along, he got a real costume and was part of the theme with mommy and daddy for Trunk or Treat. Now that I am here, he spent the evening in his crate!!! Poor dog...I bet he hates me!!!
