Ready for the weekend!

As you can see, I had a very busy day at school today. I've been working on my writing skills during the day. I even used glitter for the first time today. My mom was so proud of my little glittered school bus. She is SO easy to impress!!!
We had plans to go down to the Merritt's for dinner tonight. Before we left to go down there, Whest and Dara came to the door to campaign for Whest. He is running for reelection as a Police Juror. Whest went down another street while Dara stayed to play with me. I got my backpack and put it on so I could show her.
My mom tried to take a picture of me and Dara but I was much more interested in putting my backpack on and walking around. (There was another time I was getting a picture made with Dara and that time I was more interested in my shoe!!!) Dara is going to have a baby girl in January. I try to be on my best behavior around her just in case I ever want to date her daughter.
After Whest & Dara got back on the campaign trail, we headed down to the Merritt's house. I drove my car and mom drove hers. She had too many things to carry so it was easier to drive than walk. I was really glad she had her car because there were LOTS of mosquitoes when we left.

From morning to night!

I am OBSESSED with books. My mom says she hopes that sticks. I love to look at books. I always pick them up and take them to whoever will read to me. I read a book just this morning while my breakfast was being prepared. Even though I was reading, I never mind stopping for a minute to 'cheese' for mom.
When mom got home from work today, there was a package on the table for me. It had MY name on it!! She opened it for me then let me pull the present out.

It was my first pair of Crocs. NeNe sent them to me. They are still a little big for me but I bet I will be fitting in to them within the next month or so.
After examining them for a little while, I put them back in the box. I did that because mommy has been teaching me to put my stuff where it goes. I don't always do it, but I'm learning!!
We went over to The Shield's house for dessert tonight. Josh played music on his Cell Phone just for me. I danced to the music when I was standing on the floor. Then, my mom picked me up and put me on the couch so I could hear it better. I kept trying to take his phone so he put it up. (SO NOT FAIR!)
I finally gave up on the idea of getting the phone from Josh and decided to play with my mom instead. She was okay with that because she likes me A LOT!

Wednesday Night before church

We always leave early for church on Wednesday nights so I can visit with my dad a little before having to go to the nursery. Once we put Max in his crate, set the alarm and got outside, mommy realized we were WAY early. So, we hung out in the front yard for about 15 minutes before heading to the church.
Look at my shorts! (Yes, they are shorts.) But, in order to get shorts big enough for my belly, they end up looking more like Capris!!!
Once we got to the church, mommy took me out of my car seat and set me down. She let me walk from our car ALL THE WAY to the sanctuary. That is a long way for someone with short legs like mine.

Bro. Joshua gave me a microphone! After weeks and weeks of being told "NO" every time I get near one of those microphones, I finally got to hold one. Don't I look like I'm ready to sing my first solo?

I wanted mommy to sing but no one else did. They all thought it would be best if I kept the microphone away from her.
Uncle Cliff came in and played with me before heading up the sound booth. He had a diet coke but didn't offer to share with me. That's okay...the next time I have warm milk, he's not getting any!
I exchanged the microphone for my daddy's water bottle! I love to shake a water bottle that has any amount of water in it. They always make sure the cap is on TIGHT! (Just in case!)

Uncle Tim was hiding in the choir loft and making me laugh. I was so tickled that I could hardly stand up. Man...some of the people at my church are FUNNY!!!

Why can't I take a bath?

I went into the bathroom in hopes of getting a bath before church. Mommy seemed to think I did not need a bath. She moved me away from the tub but I just walked back to it.

I don't think she really understood how much I wanted in the tub until she saw what I did next!

Day 7 of preschool

I had a great day at preschool. I love my teachers and have a great time. The only downside is how tired I am. I used to take two different naps each day. Now, I only get one nap. Sometimes, I am so tired that I sleep 4 or 5 hours in the afternoon. This preschool stuff is HARD work. Did you see the picture of Ms. Audley reading to me? I'm pretty sure she loves me!

Mom took the next picture so you could have an idea of how I look on the ride home. I can barely keep my eyes open.

Today, when I got out of the car, I wanted to PLAY! I did not want to go inside. But,apparently it was time for me to eat lunch so they forced me inside. But, I got food, so it was okay! (You know how I am about food!!!)

The ice cream sandwich!!! (From the mommy!)

After dinner tonight, I gave Jonah a small piece of an ice cream sandwich. He loved it. He tasted one back in January but that was before he really knew what to do with it. He had a very serious look after his first bite.

This post has a couple of pictures of close ups showing his mouth. Every time I would pick the camera up, he would open his mouth and lean in really close. I'm not really sure why but I felt like it was worth documenting. Apparently, he had a reason!

After all was said and done, he was a very happy boy! He didn't even eat all of it. He saved a little for Max. (Who was a VERY, VERY happy dog!)

A fun evening with my mom and dad

When my mom and dad got home from work tonight, they took me for a ride in my wagon. I love that thing. I am so completely laid back when I am riding. Check out my arm hanging over the side.

We made a left on to Willow street and ran into lots of my friends from church. I was having so much fun in my wagon that I did not even whine to get out of the wagon.
After the wagon ride, we went to the playground at Vidalia Lower Elementary. They have a new slide that is small enough for me to play on. It was my first time to slide and I was a little apprehensive at first. But, after the first slide down, fear was no where in my mind. Daddy held me as I slid a couple of times but then I did it all myself!

My mom has a new favorite picture and if you scroll down, you can see it. This is now her background picture on her desktop. I have to admit, I think I'm pretty cute in this next picture!

Mommy says that the next picture makes her heart happy! I guess we will see that one framed soon. She is pretty fond of me and my dad!!
I was having lots of fun at the playground and did not want to leave. (As evidenced by the crying boy you will see below!)

If you want to see me going down the slide and having lots of fun, check out the two videos below. You will also see how much fun my daddy had while I was sliding. He thought it was great!
