We had plans to go down to the Merritt's for dinner tonight. Before we left to go down there, Whest and Dara came to the door to campaign for Whest. He is running for reelection as a Police Juror. Whest went down another street while Dara stayed to play with me. I got my backpack and put it on so I could show her.
My mom tried to take a picture of me and Dara but I was much more interested in putting my backpack on and walking around. (There was another time I was getting a picture made with Dara and that time I was more interested in my shoe!!!) Dara is going to have a baby girl in January. I try to be on my best behavior around her just in case I ever want to date her daughter.
After Whest & Dara got back on the campaign trail, we headed down to the Merritt's house. I drove my car and mom drove hers. She had too many things to carry so it was easier to drive than walk. I was really glad she had her car because there were LOTS of mosquitoes when we left.

Wednesday Night before church
Why can't I take a bath?
Day 7 of preschool
Mom took the next picture so you could have an idea of how I look on the ride home. I can barely keep my eyes open.

The ice cream sandwich!!! (From the mommy!)
After dinner tonight, I gave Jonah a small piece of an ice cream sandwich. He loved it. He tasted one back in January but that was before he really knew what to do with it. He had a very serious look after his first bite.

This post has a couple of pictures of close ups showing his mouth. Every time I would pick the camera up, he would open his mouth and lean in really close. I'm not really sure why but I felt like it was worth documenting. Apparently, he had a reason!

A fun evening with my mom and dad
When my mom and dad got home from work tonight, they took me for a ride in my wagon. I love that thing. I am so completely laid back when I am riding. Check out my arm hanging over the side.

We made a left on to Willow street and ran into lots of my friends from church. I was having so much fun in my wagon that I did not even whine to get out of the wagon.
After the wagon ride, we went to the playground at Vidalia Lower Elementary. They have a new slide that is small enough for me to play on. It was my first time to slide and I was a little apprehensive at first. But, after the first slide down, fear was no where in my mind. Daddy held me as I slid a couple of times but then I did it all myself!

My mom has a new favorite picture and if you scroll down, you can see it. This is now her background picture on her desktop. I have to admit, I think I'm pretty cute in this next picture!

Mommy says that the next picture makes her heart happy! I guess we will see that one framed soon. She is pretty fond of me and my dad!!
I was having lots of fun at the playground and did not want to leave. (As evidenced by the crying boy you will see below!)

If you want to see me going down the slide and having lots of fun, check out the two videos below. You will also see how much fun my daddy had while I was sliding. He thought it was great!
