Caroline's toy!

You haven't gotten to see a picture of Caroline lately. Here she is. She is 10 weeks old now. She has a swing just like mine and likes it too!

Check out this fun toy that Caroline has. It is called a jumperoo! Man, it is fun! We went to their house tonight and I was entertained for quite a while in this thing. It lights up and plays music. It was very nice of Caroline to share her toy with me. I don't think she cared what I played with as long as her mommy held her. She didn't feel too good and just wanted to be loved on all night. Do you remember that little black furry creature that lives at my house? Well, Caroline has 2 BIG horse-like creatures at her house. Those things are huge. AND, they were infatuated with me. I could hardly play for them wanting to check me out. They did lots of sniffing and licking.

WOW! We have been sick at our house!!! Last night, my mommy went to the after-hours clinic because she was so sick. The doctor said she had strep, bronchitis and a right ear infection. Then daddy woke up this morning with a HORRIBLE ear ache. He went to the ENT and Dr. White said he had a severe ear infection. I had a scheduled appointment with Dr. Russ at 1:00. She checked me over and gave me a clean bill of health!! I'm all clear! I just wish I could say that for my mommy and daddy. Since Christmas Eve, we have had 7 doctors appointments and MANY prescriptions filled. Daddy says we are doing our part to help the medical community. Either that, or we are just a bunch of hypochondriacs!! Mommy asked Dr. Russ if she was tired of seeing me. She said that until my medical chart weighed more than me, then I was okay!

Ice Cream Sandwich time!!

So, tonight mommy was eating an ice cream sandwich. I've never seen one of those before but I felt sure it was something I would be interested in. My eyes got really big and my hands started flailing all over the place!!! Then, mommy did a really mean thing and held it in front of my mouth. I started drooling! Really, slobber was falling out of my mouth!
I got my little grubby hands on that thing once and thought I had it, but she took it away. You can even see a little of it on my fingers.
Then, finally...she let me taste it. I can officially say that I am IN LOVE with ice cream sandwiches. (not so much the sandwich part but definitely the ice cream part.)

New Bathtub...Round 4!!!

Well, I have a new bathtub. AGAIN! I absolutely love bath time so mommy had to find the perfect tub for me. The last bath seat was okay but it didn't fit the side of the tub right. So, this is now my 4th bathtub since birth. I think I really like this one. It is like an inflatable pool that is the perfect size! Mommy had to hold me up tonight because of my ruptured ear drum. She didn't want any water in my ear so I didn't get to be as free as I would like.

3 pics from yesterday

For some strange reason, 3 of the pictures from yesterday did not come through. Here they are! AND, a certain SOMEONE said that my clothes weren't boy clothes. He said the stripes were "too rainbow!" Well, I just want you to know that you shouldn't talk about 5 month old babies behind their back. First of all, I don't actually dress myself. Second, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. And third, you know what Thursday is around our house and I'm thinking about you! So there!!! (No one else may understand that, but the big "C" will!!)

My first BOY outfit!

The title of this post may be a bit confusing to you. I have lots of boy outfits, right? If you remember, my mommy was SURE I was a girl. (I'm not, by the way!!!) She had her eye on so many cute girl outfits and smocked dresses and monogrammed things. Well, the news that I was a boy was a little bit of a shock to her "girly" system. But, that night, she got online and started looking at baby boy bedding and boy clothes. She found this outfit and The Children's Place and fell in love with it. She ordered it immediately. The outfit from there had jeans instead of overalls. But, the jeans she ordered are already too small!!! (Remember the DUNLAP DISEASE post? Those were the jeans!!!) She has had it since last March but this is the first time I've worn it. She said it was a good thing I wore it now because my head is almost too big for the hat! Poor me...I have a big head! (mommy said I'm like my daddy in that respect!)

A bulldog from the Biglanes!

I have the BEST neighbors! Look what they brought me...a MSU bulldog! My daddy was as happy as I was. Daddy wanted to put in on the shelf in my room. I wanted to eat it! Isn't it cute?

Want to know something funny? Max is scared of it! What a weenie!!!

On the changing table

Carrot smiles!

Mommy thought my face was clean but as you can see, I have an orange haze around my mouth. Guess she didn't get all those carrots off like she thought she did.

Someone should tell mommy she looks like a geek in the next picture! But, not me! I can't tell her because she is my primary provider of food and I can't get on her bad side!!!

Getting back to normal

Mommy and I stayed home from church again today. I've missed Sunday School 2 weeks in a row because of fever! Today was the first time since the day after Christmas that I haven't had any Tylenol. Maybe I am FINALLY getting better. When mommy got me up from my nap, she noticed my ear was all crusty. Apparently, my eardrum ruptured. That surprised everyone because I never even cried. Mommy was on the phone with Gigi when she saw it. Gigi said that should make my ear feel better because it relieved the pressure.

The next two pictures were taken after 10 p.m. tonight. Keep in mind my bedtime is usually 8 p.m. I refused to go to sleep because I wanted to stay up and play. Don't I look wide awake and happy??

I know I have been telling you about how fast I am growing. Well, the next picture should prove that to you. Yes, I'm standing up in my bed. I can't quite pull myself up but if mommy puts me there, I stay until she picks me back up. I'm quite fond of standing. I may skip the whole crawling thing and just walk!

This is my sexy pose! I learned it from my cousin, Gavin. (except I kept my clothes on while I did it!!!)
Being sick has given me a new found love for my swing. I had abandoned it the past few weeks but once I got sick, I want to spend as much time in it as possible. Especially if they play Baby Praise or Baby Einstein on the DVD player.
I haven't had anything solid to eat since I got sick. Mommy tried to feed me a bite of bananas tonight and I happily ate them. I ate an entire jar of them mixed with rice cereal. So, it looks as if my appetite has returned.

Playing on the kitchen floor

Last night when mommy and daddy were eating supper, I played on the floor with some of my new toys. You can see one of Max's toys on the floor behind me in the 2nd picture. He was on the floor with me playing until he realized mommy and daddy had food at the table. He forgot about his toy and started begging for food instead!!
