Gavin is my buddy!

Gavin is 3 months older than me and I can't quite keep up with him but man...we had fun today!!! He even sat in my new highchair with me. (Well, not really with me...more like ON ME!) Posted by Picasa

I love Ella!

Ella got here with her daddy this morning. We had fun with her. She really liked my toys and enjoyed playing with me and Gavin. She is almost 2 years older than me. Her daddy is my daddy's brother...Uncle Doug.

My first Christmas present!

CHRISTMAS HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!!!!! Wooo-hooo!
I've been wearing lots of clothes that say "Baby's First Christmas" but had NO idea what that actually meant. NOW I DO! We had a big Christmas party for my daddy's side of the family at our house today and I got presents!!!! I am a BIG fan of this Christmas idea. Here I am about to open my very first Christmas present.
Guess who wanted to be in on the action??? Yep, Max! He wanted to see what I had. He liked my new Baby Einstein present as much as I do. Granny and Granddaddy did good!

My new highchair!!!

Yeah, I'm really growing! I'm eating from a highchair now!!!! Mr. Jimmy and Mrs. Cathy Hibbs gave this to me before I was ever born and I used it for the first time today. It sure makes eating easier!!!

My family is here!

They are here! Mommy told me that some of my family was coming to celebrate Christmas with us. They made it here tonight. Granddaddy, Granny, Uncle Chris, Aunt Darla and Gavin are all here. Tomorrow Uncle Doug and Ella are coming too! Aunt Allison is sick so she can't come!

After they got here, my daddy came home from a LONG night of soccer. He had to referee 3 games. Boy, was he tired when he got here. BUT, he is never too tired to play with me!

While Aunt Darla was playing with me, her little boy Gavin was crawling ALL over the place. I've been watching him so don't be surprised if I start crawling soon.

After Gavin crawled all around, he spent a little time getting acquinted with Max. Max gave him kisses...LOTS of them! Gavin thought that was great!

Checking out the tree

Mommy put me by the tree tonight since I am so entranced by the lights. Once I got there, I noticed the HAUL under there. I think I even have a present or two under there. I've been a very good boy lately so I should do pretty well! :-) Posted by Picasa

Feeding time = Messy time!

I love the train!!

A few weeks ago, I told you about the train my Mimi set up under her tree just for me! Well, daddy took a video on the digital camera but didn't have a way to upload it then. Now that they have figured out how to do that, I decided to show you just how much I enjoyed watching that train. I followed it until it was out of sight then turned my head to see it come again!!

Manna makes me laugh

My daddy had to referee soccer games tonight at Natchez High School so I went with mommy to eat gumbo at Josh and Manna's house. (Well, mommy had gumbo. I had a nice mixture of green beans and rice cereal.) After we ate, Manna started tickling me and I was some kind of laughing!!! When mommy got the camera out, I settled down a bit, but it was still funny. Click on the video to see it! BE AWARE: Everyone else is laughing so hard at me that it is a little hard to hear my laughed mixed in with theirs. You should have been there though...I was quite the little ham!

My day with Michelle

Yesterday, Ms. Faye had to be off and I got to stay with Mrs. Michelle Strong. MAN, THAT WAS FUN! She played with me all day long and even took me on a walk in my stroller. I want her to quit cutting people's hair (well, everyone but MY mommy's hair!) and keep me all the time!!!! Especially this summer because she just got a brand new pool! Katherine got sick (not really, she just wanted to be at home with me) and had to come home from school. So, she played with me too. Mommy left her camera and they took these pictures of me. Don't I look like I had a great day?

PRAY FOR THE ROBERTS FAMILY (not a post about Jonah)

Jerry Roberts was killed in a plane crash last night 1 mile short of the runway he was to land on in Waco, Texas. Dan received a call from Graham at 12:45 a.m. asking Dan to go be with his mom and sister until he could get there from Baton Rouge. He has been with their family all night. Pray for Deanie, Karianna and Graham and the host of family and friends who loved Jerry.

My first pair of overalls!

Everyone told mommy that a little baby should not wear denim overalls because they are so uncomfortable. She just found some at the Gap that were lined and looked very comfortable. So, she bought them! I wore them for the first time tonight to the Shields' for cookies and hot chocolate and then to church.

Me and Meredith

Here I am with Meredith. She sang in church this morning but I didn't get to hear it. Mommy said it would have been even better if she had sang while riding on a donkey! She didn't think that was a good idea! Oh well!

Sunday afternoon nap!

I slept from 1:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. today. Mommy took advantage of a nap at the same time. When I woke up, daddy took me in their room to wake up my mommy. I like their big bed. I wish I could sleep with them but they keep sticking me in my crib! Posted by Picasa

Some people should not be allowed to keep the nursery!

After mommy dropped me off at the nursery for Sunday School, she looked at the bulletin and saw who was in the nursery this morning. Joey Martin, Delynn Vines and Suzanne Staggs. She knew to expect something!!!! She got there to pick me up and was going to change my diaper only to discover this....

I was wearing a GIRL diaper over my regular diaper! Do you see all the pink and purple? They thought that was SO funny. They really wanted daddy to see it, so mommy buttoned me back up and waited for daddy to change my diaper. We went to lunch at Aunt Sue's house and daddy changed me when we got there. Mommy had the camera ready and here is the result...

This is why daddy doesn't sing to me!

Ok...as most of you know, my daddy sings very well! But, no one ever hears him sing to me. Mommy told him that everyone asks why he never sings to me and he started playing around a little bit. (and no, this isn't how he normally sounds!!)
